Hi

I was wondering if anyone can help???

I am looking for a new consultant, as mine is not the best or most helpful, as you may of noticed if you have read my posts in the new members area.

I live on the Wirral, North West England and work in North Wales. I don’t mind going private if I have to too and would prefer a female one this time. And travelling isn’t a problem either.

My GP is very hard to get in to see, so I was hoping to try and get a telephone appointment with him and suggest some names, if any one has a suggestions please let me know.

I have emailed the helpline for some advice, but thought I’d give the forum a go too.

Thanks

Anne

Hi Anne,

I see a lady consultant rheumatologist at the Royal Liverpool (dreadfully dirty hospital but a good rheumatology dept). Her name is Dr Kate Nelson. The RA nurses are good there too.

Professor Robert Moots is based at Aintree Hospital and is very well regarded.

Hope this helps with you living not too far away.
